Simple Design with Elegant Adaptability

Strive stack chairs adapt for both playful and sophisticated environments with an assortment of colors and materials. They support movement with a slatted flex back and contoured curves. Stack chair styles include 4-leg, 4-leg with casters, sled base or wallsaver. Optional upholstery and arm styles allow for versatility and function.

Construction

Slotted poly back and integral steel cantilever springs provide a supportive flexing back
4-leg and sled base chair legs are 7/8” OD by 13-gauge tubular steel with welded joints
Frames are either baked-on electrostatically applied powder coat paint or bright nickel chrome plating

Product Highlights

Stackability

For easy transportation and storage, Strive 4-leg and sled base chairs can stack 4-high on the floor. On a dolly, poly seats stack 15-high and upholstered seats stack 8-high. Caster chairs can stack 4-high on the floor.

Arm Options

Low profile cantilever arms are available on all base styles while loop arms are available on 4-leg, 4-leg with casters and sled base. The armrest color matches the frame finish except when chrome and metallic finishes are specified, in which case the arms match the shell poly color.

Caster/Glide Options

Carpet casters and glides are available for specification. Glides are available in plastic, steel, rubber or felt to accommodate any flooring material.

Tablet Arm Options

Available on 4-leg chairs with or without casters and sled base chairs, tablet arms conveniently provide a worksurface in right- or left-handed orientations. Strive stack chairs have three tablet arm options: Flip-Up, Oversized Flip-Up or ChangeUp.

DESIGNER PROFILE

Giancarlo Piretti

Giancarlo Piretti (Bologna, Italy, 1940) is an Industrial Designer. Among his successful designs are Plia folding chair, his best-seller exhibited at Moma NY, Platone folding desk, and DSC (106-AXIS) seating system. For Vertebra chairs he obtained the Compasso d'Oro (Italy) as well as for his largest project, Piretti Collection office & institutional seating system. Other designs include Xylon wooden chairs, Torsion collection of institutional chairs; Engage & Impulse office chair lines featured by a synchro tilt mechanism Piretti developed; #18000 nesting & stacking chairs; and the Strive chair collection. The Pirouette nesting table and Grazie and Doni chairs for KI U.S. are G. Piretti's latest designs.
