Construction

Injection-molded polypropylene back, seat and shroud
Outer backrest supports formed from 1” diameter tubular steel are inserted into sockets molded into backrest and allow for 15 degrees of movement
Base is 26” injection-molded glass-reinforced nylon 5-blade base
Casters are double-wheel high-impact thermoplastic
Stools include adjustable-height 18” diameter chrome plated steel foot ring

Flex Comfort

Grazie task stools have the Perfect Pivot patented mechanism that mirrors natural body movement to provide ultimate comfort. Supportive contoured back flexes sideways, twisting when you twist. Optional cantilever arms provide additional support.

Material Options

Grazie task stool is available in all-poly, with an upholstered seat, or with an upholstered seat and back.

Height Adjustment

Simple function Grazie task stools have a single paddle that easily adjusts the pneumatic seat height from 37-½ - 47-¾ inches.

Base and Casters

Grazie task stools feature a 26" diameter five-star base available in black, polished aluminum, or warm grey. The 18-inch foot ring is height adjustable for greater support. The chairs come with 60 mm, black, soft surface casters or hard surface casters in warm grey or black.

Giancarlo Piretti

Giancarlo Piretti (Bologna, Italy, 1940) is an Industrial Designer. Among his successful designs are Plia folding chair, his best-seller exhibited at Moma NY, Platone folding desk, and DSC (106-AXIS) seating system. For Vertebra chairs he obtained the Compasso d'Oro (Italy) as well as for his largest project, Piretti Collection office & institutional seating system. Other designs include Xylon wooden chairs, Torsion collection of institutional chairs; Engage & Impulse office chair lines featured by a synchro tilt mechanism Piretti developed; #18000 nesting & stacking chairs; and the Strive chair collection. The Pirouette nesting table and Grazie and Doni chairs for KI U.S. are G. Piretti's latest designs.
